Ingredients
- 2 parts 1837 Bourbon
A good bourbon doesn’t need to be created in a cocktail. A great bourbon, like 1837, is best served in a glass, by itself. To experience the essence of a great bourbon, pour two ounces of 1837 Bourbon Whiskey into a rocks glass and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 parts 1837 Bourbon
- 2 medium cubes of ice
Some would argue that adding ice to a great bourbon, like 1837, is a travesty. But that’s not necessarily true. Adding the right amount of ice can slightly dilute the whiskey while bringing forward the guaiacol – the oil in the whiskey that comes from the burnt barrel. Our advice? Try it both ways. You won’t be disappointed.
