1837 Spirits was founded by three partners who were born and raised in Chicago and believe that there could be one brand that makes a collection of world-class spirits. So they embarked on a journey and are proud to introduce 1837 Bourbon Whiskey and 1837 Vodka (with more to come).
Our bourbon whiskey begins in Kansas and is then brought to our Chicagoland distillery where it is aged in specially-prepared, Minnesota White Oak barrels. Our special filtration process and delicate aging produces one of the smoothest bourbon whiskeys you will ever taste. Our aged, small batch whiskey will compete with any 3-4 year bourbon.
Our specially-crafted vodka starts with Midwestern corn which is brought to Kentucky where it is distilled five times through an eight-column still. Every care is taken to ensure the highest quality vodka. It is brought back to our Chicagoland distillery and put through a special filtration process which creates an ultra-smooth vodka, perfect for the highest-quality craft cocktails.
